Boom retracted (TM 10-3930-660-10)

EXTEND CHAIN REMOVAL

Remove four hex head capscrews (1), four lockwash-

ers (2) and cover (3). Discard lockwashers.

Remove two retaining rings (4) and one pin (5). Dis-

connect extend chain (6) from clevis (7).

If clevis (7) is damaged, remove nut (8), flatwasher (9)

and clevis (7).
