REMOVAL
NOTE
Drive belt deflection when measured mid-

way between longest span of belt should
be no greater than 1/2 in. (12.7 mm). If
deflection is greater than 1/2 in. (12.7
mm), replace belt. Drive belt tension is not
adjustable.

To remove drive belt (1), lift tensioner (2).

Remove belt (1) from alternator pulley (3), fan pulley

(4), crankshaft pulley (5) and water pump pulley (6).

Remove belt (1) from around blades of fan (7) and
remove from vehicle.

If necessary, remove tensioner (2).
