 STEP 38. Place the transmission on the con-
verter end of assembly.
Step 38. Plate 10359
STEP 40. Carefully inspect the input shaft
cap for ring wear, rough spots, and imbeded
foreign material.
Install the inputshaft retainer ring.
STEP 39.
Cap must be replaced if one or all conditions
exist.
