h. Disassembly.
4-2. Torque Converter
(1) Torque converter. (fig. 4-2.)
a. Removal.
(a) Remove the bolts (1) and the rein-

(b) Remove the bolts (7) and lockwashers
(2) Drum and disc assembly. (fig. 4-3).
(a) Place the drum and disc assembly in an

preformed packings (18, 19 and 20), snap ring
necessary to aid in removal. Remove the capscrews
(21) and seals (22 and 23).
(e) Remove the plugs (24) from the plate.
(4) and remove the cylinder from the turbine shaft.
Remove the plug (25). washer (26), spring (27),
ball (28) and elbow (29).
