a. Removal.
WARNING
Boom assembly including boom
extend cylinder weighs approxi-
mately 4100 lb (1859.72 kg). Attach
suitable lifting device prior to
removal to prevent possible injury
to personnel.
NOTE
The procedures to remove left and
right boom pivot pins are the same,
right side is shown.

Use a hoist or other suitable lifting
device to support back of boom and
take weight of boom off pivot
pins (1).
(2)
Remove locknut (2) and screw (3)
from pivot pin (1). Discard locknut.
