WARNING
Air conditioner compressors are
shipped with a charge of inert gas to

inhibit internal corrosion. Remove
caps with great care to prevent
personal injury.

CAUTION
Wipe the area clean around all A/C
7
connections to be opened during
removal and disassembly. Cap air
6
conditioner hoses after removing
hoses. Contamination of air
4
conditioning system could result in
premature failure.

Tag, mark, and disconnect wire
3
connectors (1) from wire
connector (2).
(2)
Tag, mark, and remove two hoses (3 and 4) and preformed packings (5 and 6) from
compressor (7). Discard preformed packings.
(3)
Remove locknut (8), screw (9), and compressor (7) from mounting bracket (10). Discard
locknut.
