CAUTION
Wipe the area clean around all A/C
connections to be opened during
removal and disassembly. Cap air
conditioner hoses after removing
hoses. Contamination of air
conditioning system could result in
premature failure.

Tag, mark, and remove two tubes (1

and 2) and preformed packings (3
and 4) from expansion valve (5).
Discard preformed packings.

Loosen two fittings (6 and 7) and

remove expansion valve (5) and two
preformed packings (8 and 9) from
9
10
evaporator coil (10). Discard
7
preformed packings.
