a. Removal.
(1)
Remove 13 screws (1) and
washers (2) from transmission
control valve (3).
(2)
Remove transmission control
valve (3) from front cover (4).
(a)
Pull transmission control valve (3)
straight out. Detent balls (5) are
spring loaded and may fall out. Note
position of balls and springs (6).
(b)
Remove gasket (7) from
transmission control valve (3).
Discard gasket.
(c)
Remove two detent balls (5) and
springs (6) from back of
transmission control valve (3).
