VISUAL INSPECTION
Visually inspect front and/or rear differential
carrier assemblies for correct order of
components.
(a) If components are in correct order
and assembled properly, install
assemblies in differential housings
(Para 8-5 and 9-5). Then, inspect
transmission assembly (Para 7-4)
and torque converter
(Para 7-3) for damage.
(b) If components are not in correct
order or not assembled properly,
disassemble, re-assemble, and
adjust carrier assemblies. Install
assemblies in differential housings
(Para 8-5 and 9-5).
