Fully extend boom (1)
(TM 10-3930-673-10).

Place boom (1) in horizontal position (TM
10-3930-673-10).
NOTE

Adjusting boom retract chain tension
also adjusts boom extend chain
tension.
Chain sag should be approximately 3-
1/4 - 3-1/2 in. (82.55 - 88.9 mm) from
top of chain to bottom of boom.

Adjust chain to rear of boom, not

forward. Ensure boom hose pulley

does not contact rear boom cover.

Measure retract chain (2) sag at middle of
intermediate boom section (3).
