a. Removal.
WARNING
Do not smoke or allow open flame or
sparks in the vicinity while working on
any part of fuel system. Diesel fuel is
highly flammable and can cause injury or
death to personnel if accidentally ignited.
(1)
Loosen thumb screw (1) at bottom of fuel/
water separator.
(2)
Pull retaining bracket (2) forward and
remove sediment bowl (3).

Remove gasket with brass mesh screen (4)
from fuel/water separator base (5).

Remove two hoses (6) from elbow (7) and

adapter (8).
