Clean gasket mating surface of engine block

Install adapters (3) and (10) on fuel transfer

pump (2).
(3)
Install gaskets (7), spacer (8), and fuel
transfer pump (2) on engine block (9) with
two screws (6). Tighten screws to 18 lb-ft

(24.4 Nm).

Install fuel tube (4) on adapter (5).

Connect fuel hose (1) on adapter (3).

Bleed fuel hose (1).

Loosen hose (11) at elbow (12).

(b)
Operate button (13) on transfer pump (2)
until fuel flowing from elbow (12) is free
of air.

Tighten hose (11) on elbow (12).
