Alternator and pulley removed (WP 0062 00)
Gasket (12)
DISASSEMBLY
1.
Remove baffle (1), fan (2) and collar (3).

Mark frames (4 and 5) to ensure correct orientation
during assembly.

Remove four through bolts (6) and separate drive end
frame (4) and rotor (7) from slip ring end frame (5)
and stator (8).

4.
Remove rotor (7) using a suitable press.
5.
Remove three screws (9), three lockwashers (10),
bearing retainer (11) and gasket (12). Discard lock-

washers, bearing retainer and gasket.
6.
Remove collar (13).
7.
Remove ball bearing (14) by pressing towards inside
of drive end frame (4). Apply pressure against ID of
bearing (14).
8.
Remove dust shield (15).
