Loosen jamnut (2).
6.
Loosen or tighten adjusting locknut (3) until chain sag
(1) is within specifications.
7.
Tighten jamnut (2).
8.
Retract and extend boom several times (TM 10-3930-
660-10).

Recheck chain sag (1).
10.
Chain sag (1) should be approximately 3-1/4 to 3-1/2
in. (8.3 to 8.9 cm) from top of chain to bottom of
boom.
