WARNING
Use caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during procedure.
Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy
parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death.
CAUTION
Use care not to damage finish on fork shaft during removal.
19.
Slide fork shaft (8) partially out of fork carriage (2).
20.
Support fork shaft (8) with hoist and sling. Completely remove fork shaft from fork carriage (2) and place on suitable
supports.
NOTE
Each fork weighs 125 lbs (57 kg). Remove forks
one at a time.
21.
Attach hoist and sling to fork (1) and lift fork straight
up and out of fork carriage (2).
