REMOVAL

Remove breather (1) from transmission (2).

INSTALLATION

WARNING

Cleaning compound, solvent MIL-PRF-680 Type III is an environmentally compliant and low toxic mate-

rial. However, it may be irritating to the eyes and skin. Use protective gloves and goggles. Use in well-ven-

tilated areas. Keep away from open flames and other sources of ignition.

Inspect breather (1) for damage or defects. Discard

and replace with new breather, if necessary.

If necessary, clean breather in cleaning compound and

blow-dry with air hose.

Install breather (1) to transmission (2).

Install transmission cover (WP 0150 00).

Start engine and check for proper operation (TM 10-

3930-660-10).
