Battery cables disconnected (WP 0107 00)
Sealant, Loctite (Item 49, WP 0323 00)
Lockwasher (2)
REMOVAL
NOTE
The engine temperature switch is reached through the right-hand engine access door.
1.
Remove nut (1), lockwasher (2) and electrical lead (3),
from engine temperature switch (4). Discard lock-
washer.
2.
Remove switch (4) from bushing (5).
3.
If necessary, remove bushing (5) from engine (6).
INSTALLATION
1.
If removed, install bushing (5) to engine (6).
2.
Apply loctite to threads of engine water temperature

switch (4).

Install switch (4) into bushing (5).

4.
Secure electrical lead (3) to switch (4) with new lock-
washer (2) and nut (1).
5.
Connect battery cables (WP 0107 00).
