Use cleaning solvent P-D-680. Immerse

front bearing (4)
bearing in cleaning solvent and move
slowly up and down. Remove bearing.
Strike larger side of cone against block of
wood to dislodge solidified particles of
lubricant. Immerse again in cleaning
fluid. Repeat this process until bearings
are thoroughly clean. Dry with moisture-
free compressed air. Direct air stream
across bearing. Do not spin bearings
when drying. Rotate bearings slowly by
hand to facilitate drying
Use cleaning solvent P-D-680. Immerse

pressed air or clean cloths
INSPECTION
Inspect teeth for wear, pits, cracks, nicks
