CAUTION
Do not use 110 volt test lamp to test diode trio.

Diode trio (8)
Set ohmmeter to lowest resistance range.
Connect ohmmeter leads to single con-
nector tab and one of three stator lead
connectors as shown. Observe reading.
Reverse ohmmeter leads and observe read-
ing. Repeat procedure with each of two
remaining stator lead connectors. Read-
ings should not be identical in each test.
There should be one low and one high
reading for each test. If readings are
either both high or low, replace the diode
trio

Rectifier bridge as-
Test
Use ohmmeter. Connect prod to grounded
sembly (12)
heat sink and the base of one of the three
terminals as shown. Observe reading.
Reverse prods. Observe reading. If read-
ings are identical, replace bridge. Repeat
procedure with remaining two terminals.
Connect prods to insulated heat sink and
one of three terminals. Observe reading.
Reverse prods. Observe reading. If read-
ings are identical, replace rectifier bridge
assembly. Repeat procedure with each
of two remaining terminals
