b r a k e pedal nears bottom of
open

t r a v e l then turn clockwise
to close
NOTE
R e p e a t steps b and c above until a steady stream of brake fluid
f l o w s from open bleeder valve when brake pedal is depressed.
Remove
a . Brake valve

fill  plug
compartment
Refill
With silicone brake fluid,
b . Brake valve
MIL-B-46176, to within
inch of fill plug opening.
Install
f. Fill plug
NOTE
R e p e a t steps 17 and 18 above at remaining bleeder valves in
following order:
Left rear
Right front
Left front
Tighten
a . Plug

Transmission
U s e assistant
Hold down
control valve b. Declutch
pedal
T u r n counterclockwise then
Momentarily
c . Plug
clockwise to close when air
open
i s removed from line
NOTE
Repeat steps b and c above until a steady stream of brake fluid
f l o w s from loosened plug.
Repeat step 18 above to fill brake valve with brake fluid.
