4-26. Coolant Hoses and Fittings

a. Removal. Remove engine hood and right side

panel. Drain cooling system and refer to figure 4-12 to

remove coolant hoses and fittings.

b. Cleaning and Inspection.

(1) (Clean hose fittings and gasket surface.

(2) Inspect fittings and surfaces for cracks and

damage. Inspect hoses for deterioration and cuts.

Replace defective parts and hoses.

c. Installation. Refer to figure 4-12 and install

coolant hoses and fittings. Refill cooling system.
