STEP 1:
TO DIVIDE LOAD EVENLY. BE SURE LOCK ASSEMBLIES ARE SECURE IN THE CHAIN,
AND THAT THE SPECIAL LOCK HANDLES ARE IN THE LOCKED POSITION.
DEPRESS INCHING PEDAL ABOUT HALFWAY TO MOVE FORWARD SLOWLY UNTIL LIFT
STEP 2:
FORKS ARE COMPLETELY UNDER LOAD.
DEPRESS INCHING PEDAL FULLY TO NEUTRALIZE TRANSMISSION.
STEP 3:
ACCELERATE ENGINE SLIGHTLY, NOT MORE THAN 1/2 THROTTLE OR APPROXIMATE-
STEP 4:
LY 1500 RPM.
PULL BACK FORK LIFT CONTROL LEVER AND PICK UP LOAD.
STEP 5:
PULL BACK FORK TILT CONTROL LEVER TO TILT LOAD AND PREVENT ITS SLIPPING
STEP 6:
FROM LIFT FORKS.
PULL BACK FORK EXTENSION CONTROL LEVER TO RETRACT L0AD TO CARRY POSl-
STEP 7:
TION AND BETTER BALANCE TRUCK.
