e. Adjustment.

NOTE

If a new yoke was installed, adjust shims

(3) to obtain 0.005 in. (0.127 mm) gap

between yoke (5) face and washer (2).

Check and adjust output shaft (6) end play.

(a)

Install a dial indicator to read shaft

end play.

(b)

Pull up on output shaft (6) and read

end play on dial indicator.

(c)

If end play is not within 0.000 -

0.004 in. (0.000 - 0.1016 mm),

adjust shims (3) as necessary to

bring end play within specifications.

(d)

Remove indicator and base.

NOTE

Follow-on Maintenance:

Install front and rear propeller shafts (TM 10-3930-673-20).

Fill transmission with oil (TM 10-3930-673-20).
