(a)

Remove plug (26), sealing washer (27),

and timing pin (25) from fuel injection

pump (7). Discard sealing washer.

(b)

If timing tooth is not aligned with timing

pin hole, rotate fuel injection pump (7)

shaft until timing tooth alines.

Reverse position of timing pin (25) so the

slot in pin will fit over timing tooth in fuel

injection pump (7).

Remove fuel shutoff solenoid (Para 4-5) and

bracket, if equipped.
