Firmly hold barring tool to keep
flywheel from turning, and tighten
screws (10), in the sequence shown,
to 101 lb-ft (136.94 Nm).
(e)
Remove barring tool.
(2)
Install flywheel housing cover (1)
and coupling (2).

WARNING
Adhesives, solvents, and sealing
compounds can burn easily, can give
off harmful vapors, and are harmful
to skin and clothing. To avoid injury
or death, keep away from open fire
and use in a well-ventilated area. If
adhesive, solvent, or sealing
compound gets on skin or clothing,
wash immediately with soap and
water.
(a)
Apply sealing compound to threads
of screws (7). Install coupling (2),
lockwashers (8), and screws.
Tighten screws to 25 lb-ft
(33.90 Nm) and let set for 24 hours
before operating engine.

Install flywheel housing cover (1),
ether wire (4), six lockwashers (6),
and screws (5).
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance:
Install starting motor
(TM 10-3930-673-20).
Install engine (Para 3-3).
