c. Repair

Replace any broken terminal rings or connectors.

NOTE

Note both connection points of faulty wire.

(a)

Disconnect faulty wire at both ends.

(b)

Cut insulation back approximately 4 in. (102 mm).

(c)

Cut replacement wire to required length and install proper terminals.

(d)

Mark replacement wire with wire number.

(e)

Route replacement wire along wiring harness, securing wire with tie wraps or electrical tape.

(f)

Connect replacement wire to original connection points.

(g)

Test circuit function.

d. Installation.

(1)

Route arctic heater wiring harness (4) to

vehicle in same position as original harness.

Connect large circular connector (15) of

arctic heater wiring harness (4) to heater

(12).
