engine mounts (9 and 10).

Remove two clamps (11) from muffler (3)
and engine mounts (9 and 10).

Remove muffler (3) and tail pipe (8) as an
assembly.

Remove tail pipe (8) from muffler (3).

Remove two nuts (12), bracket (13) and

u-bolt (14) from tail pipe (8) and muffler
(3). Discard lockwashers.

Remove tail pipe (8) from muffler (3).
b. Installation.

Install tail pipe (8) on muffler (3).

Position tail pipe (8) on muffler (3).

Install tail pipe (8) on muffler (3) with u-
bolt (14), bracket (13), and two nuts (12). Tighten nuts to 16 - 20 lb-ft (21.7 - 27.1 Nm).
