RESISTANCE AND
CURRENT DRAW TESTS
AT FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE SOLENOID
(1) Set multimeter to ohms to test
resistance at fuel shutoff solenoid.
(a) If resistance reads 29.5 ohms 2.5,
go to Step (2) below.
(b) If resistance is not within
acceptable limits, notify Direct
Support.
(2) Set multimeter to amps to test current
draw at fuel shutoff solenoid.
(a) If current draw reads
approximately 1 ampere, go to
Step (3) below.
(b) If reading is not correct, notify
Direct Support.
(3) Start engine (TM 10-3930-673-10). If
engine fails to start, go to Step 3 of this
fault.
