TM 10-3930-671-24 Upright Installation 2. Raise the front of truck.  Put blocking under each side of the frame. 3. Remove    drive    wheels.        For    best    access    to upright mounting trunnion fasteners. 4. As required, install upright mounting brackets on upright.      See   Note   above.      Tighten   bolts   to torque spec:  273-302 lb ft (370-410 Nom). 5. Attach lifting chains and hoist to upright. 6. Lift  and  move  upright  into  position  to  install  on truck. 7. Install   trunnion   bearings   on   axle   and   trunnion cap. Apply generous coating of Grade #1 Lithium soap    base    multipurpose    grease    to    trunnion bearings. Fill bearings (lube fitting) after installation with same grease. 8. Install   RH   and   LH   trunnion   caps.      See   Note above. Install bolts (and washers, if specified)Tighten bolts to torque spec:  55-59 lb ft (75-80 N0m). 9. Connect  the  tilt  cylinders  to  upright.    Be  sure  to install  rod  end  pin  bearing  with  grease  fitting  in upright.  See Section 10.7. 10. Connect the hydraulic lift line(s). 11. Install drive wheels. 12. Raise truck and remove blocking from under the frame.  Remove hoist. 13. Install  hydraulic  attachments  and  equipment  as applicable, forks, etc. F-505 (F-506 blank)
