TM 10-3930-671-24 b. Disconnect the lift cylinder vent line. c. Remove (pull) the vent line from the hose retainers on lift cylinder. 7. Disconnect tilt cylinders. Refer to tilt cylinder mounting illustration, Section 10.7. a. Loosen and remove the capscrew and rod end   pin   retainer   (or   plate)   from   the   tilt cylinder forward end at upright. b. Remove   the   mounting   pin   and   separate the  tilt  cylinder  rod  end  from  the  upright bracket. c. Remove  rod  end  pin  bearing  from  upright bracket, as required. 8. Remove upright mounting trunnion caps. aScribe   a   match   mark   on   the   top   of   each    upright mounting trunnion and cap for matching at assembly. b. Loosen  and  remove  the  upright  trunnion cap   fasteners.      Remove   trunnion   caps. Trunnion cap bolt torque spec:  55-59 lb ft (75-80 Nom). c. Remove    the    upright    trunnion    bearings from drive axle. d. Carefully    inspect    trunnion    bearings    for wear,    cracks,    broken    pieces,    or    other damage.      Replace   trunnion   bearings   at assembly, as necessary. 9. Remove  upright  from  truck  and  store  out  of  the way. a. Raise upright slightly to disengage trunnion brackets from drive axle. b. Move   upright   carefully   away   from   truck and to a safe storage position. F-503
