Engine Removal Preparation
WARNING
All tools and lifting equipment must
be in good condition, meet the load
capacity
requirements
and
have
OSHA labels when required. Tools
with
defects
can
have
failures
causing severe injury or death.
1.
Park truck safely.
2.
Open engine compartment. Remove the engine
compartment side doors by lifting upward and off
the pivot pins Remove floorboards. Reference
Section
12.2
for
illustration
and
parts
nomenclature.
