Oil Level Service.
CAUTION
Do not overfill crankcase with engine
oil or serious damage will occur to
engine.
NOTE
1 qt (.9L) will raise the engine oil level
from the ADD mark to the FULL mark
on the dipstick.
(1)
Check crankcase oil level (para 3-6 [a]).
(2)
Remove oil fill cap (1) from valve cover (2).
(3)
Add oil as indicated during oil level check (para
3-6 [a]).
(4)
Install oil fill cap (1) on valve cover (2).
(5)
Check crankcase oil level (para 3-6 [a]).
