TM 10-3930-671-10 Before Operation How To Perform the Daily Inspection Move the steering handwheel in a full right turn, and then in   a   full   left   turn   to   check   the   steering.      Return   the handwheel (steer wheels) to the straight-ahead position. WARNING FASTEN  YOUR  SEAT  BELT  BEFORE DRIVING  THE  TRUCK.    FAILURE  TO FASTEN SEAT BELT COULD RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH. Check and make sure that the travel area is clear in front of the truck. Push firmly on brake pedal.  Release the parking brake. Move  the  directional  control  lever  from  "N"  (neutral)  to the "forward" travel position. Remove  your  right  foot  from  the  brake  pedal  and  put  it on   the   accelerator   pedal.      Push   down   until   the   truck moves   slowly   forward.      Remove   your   foot   from   the accelerator pedal and push  down  on  the  brake  pedal  to stop the truck. Make sure that the travel area is clear behind the truck. E-72
