TM 10-3930-669-34 15-9.  PIVOT AND SHIFT ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT/REPAIR (CONT). (10) Check pivot arm (24) for freedom of movement. (11) Install bearing  (18),  ring  (17),  and  lock  ring  (16) on pivot pin (19) with nut (15).  Tighten nut to 20 lb-ft (27.12 N•m). NOTE One   side   shown   but   both   bearing caps installed the same way. (12) Install  preformed  packing  (14)  and  bearing  cap (13) on pivot assembly (8) with four screws (12).
