Removal (1) Remove four screws (1), four lock washers (2), and cover (3) from housing (4). (2) Remove three screws (5), three lock washers (6), and plate (7) from housing (4). Flywheel  housing  weighs  46  lbs  (21 kg).  Use the aid of an assistant when removing  flywheel  housing  or  injury to personnel can result. (3) Remove nine screws (8), nine lockwashers (9), screw (10), lockwasher (11), and housing (4) from crankcase (12). 3-92
