Mast pivoted 90 degrees (TM 10-3930-669-10)
Mast side shifted (TM 10-3930-669-10)
Carriage raised 3 in. (76.2 mm)

a. Chain Tension Adjustment
WARNING
All personnel must stand clear during lifting operations. A swinging or shifting load may cause injury or
death to personnel.
(1)
Remove two screws (1), washers (2), and locking plates (3) from support (4).
(2)
Start engine (TM 10-3930-669-10).
(3)
Shift carriage to right side (TM 10-3930-669-10).
(4)
Stop engine (TM 10-3930-669-10).
(5)
Tighten or loosen two screws (5), as required, until two chains (6) are tight.
