TM 10-3930-669-20 (12) Apply   a   light   coat   of   clean   engine   oil   to preformed  packing  (2)  and  install  on  oil  filter adapter assembly (3) with oil filter (1).  Tighten oil  filter  one-half  turn  after  preformed  packing contacts oil filter adapter. (13) Remove wiping rags from under oil filter (1). (14) Install cab (Para 15-2). (15) Check engine oil (TM 10-3930-669-10). (16) Start engine (TM 10-3930-669-10). NOTE Allow engine to run for two minutes. (17) Shut off engine (TM 10-3930-669-10). CAUTION •      Use   care   when   filling   engine   with   oil   to prevent    spilling    oil    on    engine.        Oil    is flammable and damage to equipment could result. •   During  final  filling  of  engine  with  oil,  the  oil level   should   be   checked   often,   using   the engine   oil   dipstick.      Avoid   overfilling.      If engine   is   overfilled,   drain   excess   oil   from engine, or damage to equipment could result.
