Removal.    Remove  screw  (1)  two  washers  (2  and  3),  valve  cover  (4),  and  gasket  (5)  from  engine  (6). Discard gasket. b. Cleaning/Inspection. (1) Inspect valve cover and cylinder head for cracks and warpage. (2) Replace any damaged parts. 3-2
