SERVICE   CROSS   BEARINGS   BY   APPLYING GREASE AT FITTING (1). a. Apply  grease  gun  to  fitting  (1).    Fill  until grease flows from the extreme outer edge of each bearing (2). b. If  any  bearings  fail  to  purge,  rotate  drive shaft from side to side and reapply grease. c. Wipe away excess grease. 2-273
