2-75. REVERSE WARNING ALARM REPLACEMENT
This task covers: Removal, Cleaning, Inspection, and Installation

General Mechanics Tool Kit (1, App. E)
Batteries disconnected (para. 2-78)
A. REMOVAL
WARNING
Electrical shock hazard. Disconnect
battery ground cable or power source
prior
to
working
on
electrical
components. Failure to heed warning
could cause shock, injury or death. If
electrical shock occurs, administer first
aid
and
seek
medical
assistance
immediately.
1.
Tag and disconnect electrical wire from reverse
warning alarm (1).
2.
Remove reverse warning alarm (I) from right
rear light box (4) by removing screws (2) and
nuts (3).
B. CLEANING
Clean reverse warning alarm in accordance with
paragraph 1-24.
C. INSPECTION
Inspect alarm and related components in accordance
with paragraph 1-24.
