Report loose or broken connections to Organizational Maintenance. 2. ENGINE CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START (NO SMOKE FROM EXHAUST) Step 1. Check to see if fuel tank is empty. WARNING Do not fill the tank with the engine running, while smoking, or when near an open flame.  Never overfill the tank or spill fuel.  If fuel is spilled, clean it up immediately.  Be sure to use the correct type and grade of fuel. Fill fuel tank. Step 2. Check to see if fuel shut-off valve is in OFF position. Place handle to the ON position. 3-2
