TM10-3930-660-20 18-31. FORK SIDESHIFT CYLINDERS - REPLACE (Cont’d) c. d. e. f. operate controls to shift left fork (2) to right side of fork carriage  (3). The left fork (2) will not move but left fork sideshift cylinder (11) will be fully retracted. Tag and disconnect two hydraulic lines (14) from left fork sideshift cylinder (11). Plug and/or cap all hydraulic fittings. Remove socket head screw (9) and retainer (10) from right side of fork carriage  (3). Lift left (11) from 3. IF NECESSARY BUSHINGS  (15). a. b. c. d. Remove  six fork sideshift cylinder fork  carriage  (3). REMOVE THRUST screws  (16). Remove thrust bushing retainer (17) . Push thrust bushing (15) to inside of fork carriage (3) to remove. Repeat steps a-c for other thrust bushing  (15). INSTALLATION Remove caps and installed. Wipe valve and hoses plugs as hoses are all sealing surfaces on clean  and  dry. 1. IF REMOVED, INSTALL THRUST BUSHINGS (15). a. b. Press new thrust bushing (15) into position from inside of fork carriage  (3). Install thrust bushing retainer (17). 18-123
