CAREFULLY POSITION STEERING COLUMN (2) THROUGH ACCESS HOLE AT BASE DASHSOARD AND THROUGH COLUMN HOLE ON DASHBOARD. Hose connections for control valve are on 3. 4. the right side. POSITION STEERING CONTROL VALVE (1) ON STEERING COLUMN (2). TURN STEERING COLUMN SHAFT AS NECESSARY TO ENGAGE SPLINES. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN (2) AND STEERING CONTROL VALVE (l). a. Apply (3) . b. 5. 6. Align capscrew holes on valve (1) and column (2). Loctite 242 to threads of capscrews Secure valve (1) and column (2) to dashboard with four new lockwashers (4) and four capscrews (3). Tighten capscrews (3) in a crisscross pattern to 180 in. lb.
