DISCARD FILTER ELEMENT  (1). REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILTER HEAD (2) FROM VEHICLE. a. b. c. d. Remove hose (3) and elbow (4) from filter head (2). Remove hose (5) and elbow (6) from filter  head  (2). Support filter head (2) so it does not drop during hardware removal. Remove three screws (7) and lockwashers (8). Discard lockwashers  (8). Remove filter head (2) from vehicle. 9-21
