EXHAUST PIPE - REPLACE
This task covers:
a. Removal

Equipment Condition
Vehicle parked on level ground.
Engine cool and off.
The exhaust pipe is accessed through the
left-hand engine access door.

LOOSEN CLAMPS (1) AND (2) SECURING
EXHAUST PIPE (3) TO TURBOCHARGER (4)
AND MUFFLER (5).
REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE (3) FROM OPENINGS
ON TURBOCHARGER (4) AND MUFFLER (5).
INSTALLATION
To prevent exhaust leaks, be sure
exhaust pipe (3) is pushed far enough
onto the turbocharger (4) and muffler
(5) openings.

POSITION EXHAUST PIPE (3) ON OPENINGS
OF TURBOCHARGER (4) AND MUFFLER (5).
TIGHTEN CLAMPS (1) AND (2) TO SECURE
EXHAUST PIPE (3) TO TURBOCHARGER (4)
AND MUFFLER (5).
