Procedure: Check for and repair,
fill or adjust as necessary
ENGINE OIL LEVEL
Check oil level on dipstick. Maintain
oil level to between the ADD and
the FULL marks. Refer to
LO10-3930-660-12.
HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
Check the external hydraulic lines and
fittings for damage and leaks.
BATTERIES
Do not smoke or allow any open flame
or spark in the vicinity while checking
or filling batteries. The batteries
generate hydrogen gas, a highly
explosive gas. Personal injury or
death can result.

Check batteries and battery box
for corrosion and obvious damage.
Check the electrolyte level.
If the level of electrolyte is below
the top of the battery plates,
notify Unit Maintenance.
WINDOWS
Check windows for obvious damage
and broken or cracked windows.
SEAT AND SEAT BELT
a. Check seat belt for damage.
b. Check seat adjustment latch.
Equipment Is Not Ready/
Available If:
Class Ill leaks are
evident.
Corrosion damage to
batteries.
Vision is distorted due to
crack in windshield.
Seat belt torn.
Seat latch inoperative
or broken.
