Remove locknut (103), two right adjustment  brackets  (104  and  105),  and  back  support  (108)  from  backrest  (1). Discard locknut. 46. Remove two tension springs (102) from back support (108). b.  CLEANING AND INSPECTION WARNING Dry cleaning solvent, P-D-680, is toxic and flammable. Always wear protective goggles and gloves, and  use  only  in  a  well-ventilated  area.  Avoid  contact  with  skin,  eyes,  and  clothes,  and  DO  NOT breathe vapors. DO NOT use near open flame or excessive heat. The solvent's flash point is 100°F- 1380°F (380°C-590C). If you become dizzy while using cleaning solvent, immediately get fresh air and medical help. If solvent contacts eyes, immediately wash your eyes and get medical aid. 1. Clean metal parts with dry cleaning solvent and dry with clean rags. 2. Clean cushions with detergent and water. Allow to air dry. 3. Clean plastic parts and bellows with detergent and water. Dry with clean rags. 4. Inspect parts for cracks, wear, and damage. Replace damaged parts. TA708397 4-246 [
