MALFUNCTION TEST OR INSPECTION CORRECTIVE ACTION ENGINE SYSTEM 1. ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT WILL NOT START. Step 1. Check engine cranking speed (see STE/ICE-R Test NG30). WARNING Diesel  fuel  is  combustible.    DO  NOT  smoke  or  allow  open  flame  near  fuel  tank. Failure to follow this warning will result in death or serious Injury to personnel.  If you are burned, Immediately seek medical aid. Step 2. Inspect fuel tank vent line for restrictions. Replace restricted or damaged fuel tank vent line (see paragraph 5-15). 4-7
