REMOVAL
NOTE
All wires and cables should be tagged before removal. Refer to paragraph 2-
18 for tagging Instructions.
Remove tie-down straps as necessary.
1.
Pull back rubber boot (5) and remove nut (1), two cables (2), and secondary steering wiring harness terminal
leads (3) from starter motor solenoid (4).
2.
Remove nut (6) and cover (7) from starter motor solenoid (4).
3.
Remove nut (14) and two terminal leads (13) from starter motor solenoid (4).
4.
Remove screw (16) and terminal lead (15) from starter motor solenoid (4).
5.
Remove nut (10), two terminal leads (11), ground strap (9), and cable (8) from starter motor (12).
