Install strap (4) on alternator (14) with washer (3), washer (2), and screw (1). 6. Install strap (9) on alternator bracket (13) with washer (11) and screw (10). 7. Install strap (9) and clamp (8) on water pump (12) with screw (7). FOLLOW-ON TASKS: • Install engine oil cooler tubes and hoses (see paragraph 5-8). • Connect outside cab heater hose to water pump (see paragraph 16-14). • Install engine thermostat housing (see paragraph 5-34). • Connect lower engine radiator hose to water pump (see paragraph 5-29). • Install fan (see paragraph 5-36).
